nice weekend we are havin!

high 60's/low 70's saturday and sunday here in oklahoma. tommorow, since it will be such a nice day, i'm gonna work on the ol' truck

got my new collector gaskets to install, i'm gonna check to see if my torque conveter bolts are loose, and remount my shock extenders correctly!

the bolt that goes on the back of the extenders that holds it in place, yeah, i dont have those in, so tommorow i'm gonna put them in and be done with it

i may end up trying to straighten my front bumper, it leans lower on the passanger side whats teh best way to do this? i've looked before and the bolts all look really hard to get to.

Yeah, it's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow and mid to high 60's Sunday and Monday here too. Good time to pull it out in the driveway and mess with it. It's been couped up in the shop for too long.

On the bumper, good luck straightening it out. Them things are tough to move if they are bent.

my bumper is the same way, the bolts arent that hard to get to at all. all you need is wrench, extension, and socket.

its not bent, its just not bolted on correctly,its bolted on at a slant

what bolts do i need to get to so that i dont have to completely remove the bumper, but just move it around while its still on the frame?

Yeah... trying to get to the bumper bolts are fun.

I'm thinking the same thing for tomorrow too... except I'll be in 50-60 degree weather here in the foggy valley.

I'll be checking my converter bolts, installing a new oil pressure sender, messing with my driveshaft, etc. Does the oil pressure sender need teflon tape on the threads?

Next week I'm planning on replacing my brakes (they squeak - I need new pads) and installing new U-Joints. U-Joints hard to replace? Do I just use regular litium grease with them? do I need teflon tape on the thread of the grease nipple? I hope I didn't wear my pads to the metal - they started to squeak 3 weeks ago oops...

30 would be a heat wave around here. The other day it was -20* without the windchill. And I was stuck outside working on my Camaro.

It was only foggy half the day! Whoohoo! I went to a car auction today, didn't find anything interesting except a swat van - made the whole trip worthwhile. The rest of the day I tinkered with my truck. I installed the oil pressure sender and it works!!!! Yay - all my gauges work now! ::applause::

I checked my torque converter bolts and they were all tight! I guess it is my U-joints.

It was a great weekend around here too. Almost got above freezing point. Nice change! I got stuff done in the driveway, good times!
