Re: Teaching them young!

i don't think i've ever said anything was cute before, but that was just too cute, and it was a good laugh too. so, did she have a hard time breaking them loose? LOL!!!

That was also great when she was like "you're the best but I wish mommy would wake up".

Kids say what's on their minds, that's for sure! Working on the truck was part of my distraction tactic. My wife had a pretty nasty sinus headache, and she was taking a nap while my 1 yr old son was napping (when you have kids you'll understand how important the timing of that is!) I had to find a way to entertain my daughter because she kept wanting to go in and wake up mommy and her brother. I had let her tighten about 3 three of them, and I thought it would make a cool little video clip so I filmed it with my digital camera.

Re: Teaching them young!

Yeah, my parents have told me numerous stories lol. I still remember when I was a little kid and my dad would get me to change the tires, or at least attempt to change them haha. I remember taking one of the rear tires off of his 442 and it was jacked off of the ground, the tire fell on my foot and then kind of laid over on me (I was little and it was to heavy for me to lift off lol)

Re: Teaching them young!

My oldest daughter used to come out and help. When she was little...Had a thing for 47 to 53 Chevy trucks. I had a 50 I was working on putting it back to stock. By the time she was 3...she knew the difference between a wrench and a socket. She's 16 now...and I bet I couldnt get her near the 69.
