Question Best Engine Mounts

My current engine mounts are only about 2 years old and the driver's side mount already feels like its come apart, and I'm going to be pulling the engine in a month or so (finally decided to rebuilt the 350). Any suggestions on what brand/ where to get engine the best mounts? Do most better new mounts have a retainer in case the rubber part does seperate? What are the good ones?

Re: Best Engine Mounts

This has come up before, and had me concerned too. But I think all the motor mounts sold today will be the type to have a safety build in. (for liability issues).
I got a set from NAPA and they look real nice....coming from India! IIRC Auto zone had the same ones, they just didn't look as nice.
I guess it didn't matter because I ended up having to grind on it to clear my bracket!

Re: Best Engine Mounts

I just ordered a pair from Summit and they are great quality and fit perfect. They were a lot cheaper than CPP or anyone else, I think 15 bucks cheaper for just as good if not better quality.
