5.3l Engine Swap

Ok I'm looking to swap a 5.3l engine into my 67 Chevy is there anybody that has done this and can give me some tips?

I have a 5.3L sitting in between my frame rails right now. Don't have it running yet.

First, I used some tubular engine stands with later model motor mounts. I made my own adapter plates.

I also am using camaro headers, they fit like they were made to fit out trucks!

If you can, I'd get the under hood fuse block too. Supposedly it makes the wiring a breeze. Mine isn't there, but I have the block!

If you go look for my build thread there is some info there. Other's build threads also have GenIII engine swaps too.

five pages of nothing but 4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0 swaps.

Lots of people have done it. Click on the link in my signature for a 5.7 swap - it's all the same engine, basically.
