who here has removed the cab lip i need info on how

whats the best way to remove the lip by the front window but not mess up the cab?

I had to cut off about a foot of my passenger side gutter and replace it with a ninety degree piece I made. I used an angel grinder with a cut off wheel. I was going to use a plasma cutter, but I thought it would put to much heat to it. There was more metal to it than I thought there was. I left some meat to be safe and then cleaned it up with a grinder. Other than that I don't know.
