help me ID my wheels

Thanks for looking. To the best of my knowledge, I think they are Fenton Fan Jets. I have looked all over for a stamp, but have not been able to find one. From what I have found, Fenton was a short lived company and their products are not worth too much today. At any rate, they are one of my favorite things about my truck...let me know what you think!

Re: help me ID my wheels

iv'e seen them before the less spokes, but I have not seen anymore like the one's that I have. The only reason i think they are fenton fan jets is b/c I found a pair of 5 lugs on a 70's corvette that matched mine.

Re: help me ID my wheels

Several names by several brands make narrowing them down difficult.

some of the names where turbines, hurricans, fan-jet, thrusters, vectors

heres something you should look at

Re: help me ID my wheels

FYI, I found the stamp under a bunch of dirt and grunge. They are Turbines made by Western Wheel (not around anymore)...lowriden58, you probably had the Hurricanes by Western (15 spoke). I did some lookin around and seems like they're pretty hard to find! Western Wheel made them both for Vettes and Cameros back in the early to mid 70's and some of them actually had Chevrolet stamped on them.

Re: help me ID my wheels

My first truck was a 69 SWB 2wd stepside with western wheel turbines as well. If I remember correctly the name was on the back side between the lug holes under a bunch of crud! Took me almost a year to find those wheels back then.

Come to think of it I know where those wheels are now (well I know where whats left of that truck is) and I might be able to buy them back.
