Great job!!! I just did this too...and have to admit I was scratching my head trying to remember how they were when I took them off.

Catch is I don't have a model to follow. I printed the images from this awesome post by 68Haywagon

Any other detailed pictures out there that may help me out with my installation?
Thanks in advance

Ok this link shows a front and rear drum brake setup. Thats what I have on my 69 and why I needed a disc brake conversion kit. That mettering block will not work with disc brakes, trust me, found out the hard way.
As you see on my pictures, my lines run the same way, not made for the larger prop valve. Also our original M/C are smaller then the trucks that came with disc brakes.

Re: Brakelines - Do I have everything?

My truck is on a 1971 Chassis. No idea if that prop valve will work or not. I'll tackle that when I get to that stage.

Project has been on hold since I installed those lines, two kids came along since them

The new brake line pictures were your truck? If so thats the small metering block I had and its a drum drum valve, not disc/drum. My valve locked my brakes on the free, I was in the passing gear to drive 35mph.

Yes, it is not installed yet. thanks for the info, I'll certainly take that into consideration when it comes time to assemble that portion of the build

Re: Brakelines - Do I have everything?

I just ordered the same set up for my 72. I'll be using this thread as a reference. I'm sure the pics you and glock posted will be a big help. Any additional advice you can provide? Thanks Flo

Somebody here used them also, but like finelines, no instructions with the brakelines.
My question to you, if you have a 72 why do you need the kit? Unless your just changing to new lines?

I have a '67 truck on a 71/72 chassis. I had no brake lines so the kit was necessary, I built it from the ground up
