Neat '69 I bought.

Thought I'd share a couple pics of this neat '69 I bought for parts. Actually all I needed was the frame. It's a 1/2 ton shortbed that was ordered as 250 six cylinder, SM465 trans, HD radiator, 3:73 posi rear, and full guage set. It had an old utility bed on it, and sign plate on the door. I forgot all about taking before pics, so here are the after pics. As it sits awaiting its fate, a trip to the scrapyard.

Re: Neat '69 I bought.

That's a regular step side bed with the utility bins bolted in place of the step fenders...

I would really like to have that sign if you are going to throw it away. I will be happy to pay for shipping and some PIA compensation.

Re: Neat '69 I bought.

That bed would make an awesome trailer or awesome real shop truck.Think about it,all those bines.Especially for an offroad junky.I`m building a matching Stepside trailer for my Short Stepside 4wd that will be lifted w/big tires, too.
Got a link to that one on Ebay?
Isn`t that a`67 front clip?Fenders? Can`t tell from pictures,is that stuff rusted out?It doesn`t look that way in the pics.Looks like salvageable parts.

Do you think the D.O.T. would give anyone any hassle if they put them on their truck? I mean, who'd know if they had any explosives, or not?

Got gas? I've been in vehicles with people who needed that sign!!

Re: Neat '69 I bought.

It has rust under the battery tray and rockers, and cab corners. Other than that it's pretty solid. But, it's dinged and dented everywhere. It was a gravel quarry truck. My buddy is going to put the sign on his '69 pulling truck. I just need the rest of it out of my yard and I figure I'll get decent cash at the scrapper.
