Re: Got parts? I probably need them!!!!!!

I have a factory 4.10 geared rearend, but it leafsprings & 6-lug... I was going to steal the gears and put them in my 5-lug coil housing... But if it would work for you, and I can sell it for enough money to finish my 9" rearend... we can talk...

Re: Got parts? I probably need them!!!!!!

well I am thinking about just seeing what the little 3.08's can do... lol. I now have less than a month to go on this, and I just don't have time for the luxuries that I wanted. they will come later in this truck's already long life. however, if you have some '71 5 lug axles that are the same length as '70 6 luggers, I'd take them in a heartbeat. especially if i'm coming out to get my parts truck from spearfish...

I think there is something about early and late '70 year housing being different lengths... I think it's something like late '70 are the same length as 71-72 5-lug housings... You might want to post the question on the general discussion threads.

Re: Got parts? I probably need them!!!!!!

add any door weatherstripping and window side felts/channel felts to the list. I will give it a week to find these and then just go to LMC for them.
