factory tac to hei help please
does anyone know how to hook up the tac to a hei the hei has one wire and the tac has to hook ups which one goes were and does anyone have pics of the back of the tac thanks to any help

Welcome to the 67-72 Chevy Trucks Board from West Michigan!
I don't have a picture but if you have the correct harness there should be a red wire and brown wire to be used for hooking up the tach. The red wire goes to the "Unfused ignition" terminal on the fuse panel. The brown wire goes to the terminal on the HEI marked "tach". The tach gets its ground from the case so once you have the two wires hooked up, you should be good to go. Jim

This should help. It's the factory tach from the truck I just sent to the scrap yard...
