A/C wiring?
I have put a factory a/c system in my 72. The fan switch has a 4 prong plug but only three wires out of it, one has been removed. There is a blue, orange, and yellow. The factory non a/c wiring harness has a brown wire that goes to the heater control. Is this the one that should go to the a/c control? Could someone tell me the color of the wires that go to there a/c fan switch. thanks

You are missing your power wire it sounds like. The power wire is brown as you have noted.

Canso, according to the Chevy truck manual the A/C wiring harness connector that goes to the blower switch will only have the three wires coming out of it that you noted. The fourth opening is for the brown power wire with a spade terminal that has been previously mentioned. You just install the connector on the switch and then connect the power wire through the vacant opening in the connector onto the switch terminal.
