HELP! Water in my glove compartment?!?!?!
Thats right, it rained here for the first time in forever. I left the parking lot and work, turned out onto the main drag and rain water came running out of the glove compartment. Where the heck could it be comming from?

I would guess plugged cowl vents.

Or maybe from the windshield gasket. There is also a body seam in the area above the glove box. If the caulking is bad in that seam the water can leak in through that. The seam starts under the windshield gasket and goes down across the cowl under the cowl vent.

That seam is easy to fix.Take off the cowl cover and it`ll be looking right at you.It`s happening to alot of trucks about now.That sealer must only be good for 35 or so years.Imagine that.

Also check the area around where the radio antennae come through to the interior of the cab. For a test you can always use a water hose
