I need to rebuild the vent windows on the 1970 blazer. I need to know who sells the best rubber replacements for this application. The metal is mostly fine but I have seen some restores that don't look so good, rubber sticking out, window not closing without lots of help, etc. Anybody with experience?

Check the venders here - There are good rubber products out there. ECE is pretty good; Rubber seal sets are one of those products where you get what you pay for.

I recently bought a set for my 72 K10 from here: http://www.americanclassic.com

I was sceptical because they were only $25. for both sides, but was surprised when I received them. Made in the USA by a company called Precision. Very good quality and they fit perfect..... but a PITA to install.

Thanks for the info but what are these pics trying to say? Are they before and after shots? Thanks for your time.

sorry, I was in a hurry and searching loads of my recent pictures to try and find you a good shot of the new ones.... and all I found were the small versions of these two shots.
I still have the windows pulled from the truck so if you want I can take a few up close shots. It might give you some idea of the quality, but I think with something like rubber/weather stripping, you have to actually have it in your hand.

Rubber does look good and tight, did you have instructions concerning the rebuild or just learn as you go?

It was learn as you go.... not too bad really. It's just takes a lot of patience when fitting it into the bottom front corner.
