I got a fullsize truck seat from my friend from a 2000 chevy truck,,,,I was wondering would it fit in a 1972 chevy truck(the seat in the 72 is tore,,top and bottom,,,,,Any reply's???

I would think so but to make sure measure the width from bolt hole to bolt hole.

SEATS
I put a seat from a '99 Silverado and it fit OK. I had to drill some new holes and move the middle seat ahead to the first holes on the bracket, but no big deal.

I have a 40/60 from a 98 in mine. There was a little work but nothing hard. I had to build a bracket under the 60 side to support it on the floor. A few extra holes also had to be added for the additional mounts, and power for the seats themselves.

I was told that up to '99 would bolt right in. Is the 2000 the newer truck body style? But with some fabrication, anything is possible
