Re: flipping 68 gmc leafspring setup?

Forgot to mention, I have a rear leaf spring on my 68 GMC also. I thought about doing a flip but decided against it because of having to notch the frame. I'm going to wait and probably save some $'s to buy a lowered leaf spring setup.

i plan on doing a notch and an airbag setup. i just wanna lower it in the meantime. new leafs sounds like a good alternative.

Re: flipping 68 gmc leafspring setup?

I had the same problemo a few months ago on my 72 gmc. The only
suspension company out there thats got a flip kit is DJM ... I dont really
like their stuff but it works... too bad belltech dont make a kit , their stuff
is nice. Another alternative would be to take ur ride to Big bear if u live
in Salas..those guys will buid u a two link arbag setup for about $600 with
evrything included.
