Wheels and Tires?
I am still adding to my wishlist. Would like to see pics of tires and wheels for the 47 - 53 Chevy trucks. I am thinking of running 17" on the front and 18" on the rear. What do you think? I want the widest tire I can fit in the fender wells. Also what backspacing works best on our trucks? I am thinking of a 2.5" drop in the front and 4" drop in the rear. Please give me some advise and pics if you have them.

i have 18 all arround but had to tub the rear to fit 9" wide tires

Renegade, I am planning on 18" on the front and 20" on the back after looking at houndreds of old trucks. This is the best look IMHO. I would advise you to check out a few trucks with this configuration for another option.
