so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
some of you know I just painted most my truck and its assembly. A couple of you seemed interested to see it go together so I'll keep this updated as stuff happens. Start off with pics of where Im at now. Cab is sprayed in lizard skin and I started putting the brakes and clutch stuff under the dash. The frame is painted and started going back together. I got my dodge brakes mounted on my 12 bolt and thats in there. And the running boards were shot with sprayable seamsealer and blacked out.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
I made it. Its all 1x2x16 gauage. It drops the rad about 4 inches lower than stock. This is so I could cut down the factory hood panel and relax some of the angle in it so its much more sexier.
The fender supports are shortend as well, to work with the rad support. |

Dito on the color combo, it looks awesome! Are you putting guages in the wheel? if not what are the holes for?

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
are you going to install A/C? looks like it would be tight with the booster under the dash.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
Hey Cajun...Looking great. I am guessing that you are going to be installing a console. I have been trying to figure out how to route the brake lines in dad truck. We are going to be installing AC in his truck and I was wondering how it would fit under there with the booster. Good luck and I can't wait to get there with his truck.

Yup, small consol. I need one anyways for the shifter.
I dunno how a/c will fit, its going to be tight for sure. |

I really like the color on your truck. Do you mind telling me what color it is and would you happen to have the paint code? Thanks in advance.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
it started as wrx impreza race car blue. I dont remember the paint code or anything. 63490 comes to mind though...can try that number at napa since its martin senior.
honestly I wouldnt use it though. It doesnt cover for anything and has over $800 in pearl per gallon. |
