Anti-seize or Locktite?

When reassembling the chassis what do I use? Dry or wet? Anti-seize or Locktite? I'll probably never take it apart again.

well if you are 150% sure a part is staying there for good use Red/blue locktite. White is absolute overkill and hard to find to boot.

Anti seize: in the event it comes off it doesnt snap!
is good when applied to parts that get extremely hot then cold again to provide a barrier from the interlocking parts.
also very helpful when mixing metals. ie Aluminum to steel or steel to stainless because they never seem to get along either.

Zinc( no rust) plated bolts torque to factory specs, no lock tite needed.

don't know how it will be in 40 years but I used grade 8 bolts from tractor supply with lock washers. Used anti-seize on the bolts for the leaf springs...

No not yet. For my bro's truck. He lives in FL now. So I can do almost anything I want with his truck as long as he says ok.

But but but, my mom has paid me 80$ and is about to give me 150$ (total of 230$) for my grades and my persistence in asking for money and a truck. And my dad got a new job with an old friend managing her Bed and Breakfast. She has a farm and needs a new roof and tons of other stuff. Luckily I have done shingles before(the right way). And I have been working for her for years. And the town gave her 200,000$ for 4 acres of land needed to extend a local main road. So I should have a truck in the next month or so. I'll probably get the 72' up the road from me. Or an S-10 for parts runner.

Anyone know of a 1993-2004 S-10/Blazer for 2000$ or less in the NC area?

Where to buy? How much each? What grade?

And, where do I find the entire truck torque specs? Book somewhere?

I think my service manual has a lot of torque specs in the back. Most are based on the size of the bolt...

you should be able to get them at just about any good hrdware store. now all sizes you might want to find a local "Fastener" shop.
