If you're referring to mine (78 stepside, long bed), it's GM color code 20, "Light Blue".

Nice ones! Cool that you have a picture of your High school truck! Do you try to make it look like your '78 or was it by coincidence that they look almost the same?

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

My "new" truck is a 454. I was looking for a clean truck of the 73-80 vintage and found this one owner that happened to have a big-block. I would have bought it regardless of the color, but the Russet Metallic/Santa Fe Tan two-tone combo was all the sweeter. it is a bit by design that they look close, accessory-wise. here is the "before" shot of the "new" truck when i bought it from the 80 YO P.O.

thanks.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

I never posted pictures in this thread of my newest truck when I got it. 76 Sierra 2wd LWB 454 with AC. I've since replaced the missing center cap for the American Racing "Hammer" rims. I can't believe they still make them!

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

First post! Grew up with GM trucks, drive GM trucks, love GM trucks! Since these pics exhaust manifolds are now headers on dual 2 1/2" flowmasters, performer intake with 750 4bbl, new plugs/wire/cap, no more AC, bed toolbox and some (rubber) diamond plate floormats! Plus new u-joints, rebuilt th400, scratches, and lots of ranch work done! More to come

The rear black rims look good, do you have a front set. Nice to see a different color.

Yea I have the boss 338's for the front. I am just having issue finding someone to machine the center bores to fit the hubs for less than 120
