Fuel Cell
I'm looking to relocate my gas tank on my truck and have a fuel cell from another project. I was wondering if there is a way to get my fuel gauge to work? THanks for any input.

You need to find a variable adjustment or a pickup that is the same resistance )ohms) as the stock gauge. It seems to early to think at the moment, but I believe ours works off of a 90 ohms resistance. Hopefully someone can chime in and correct my o-2-early memory.

They make 0-90 ohm senders for fuel cells. Summit should have them. They are only about $40

The GM sendors work off of 0-90 ohm's resistance. Can't remember which is empty and which is full. Anyway, the gauge displays the level based on this resistance. The 0-90 senders that summit sells for the fuel cells come in several types. The 0-90 is compatible with the older GM stuff.
