That is a good question. Figuring those things out is harder than a rubex cube. I put a new one in mine and the darn thing keeps falling out all the time. Very annoying. Hopefully, someone knows the magic combination.

Is yours an 80s glove box, if so i had the same problem.
Try this... When ur ready to put it back together there would be a small tip on the outher side of the lock you will need to push that with something thin thenpush the lock together, thats what i fured out after watching it for hours ![]() |

I replaced the glove box lock in my P/U by taking it to a locksmith. The cost was well worth the potential for aggravation.
