shaved pics

hey guys, im am considering shaving my side lense lights and door handles and lock on my 79. i have already shaved the badges and mirrors. i wanna see what u got to see if thats what im lookin to do

check out his home in his avatar....phoenix.........doesn't rain much in the desert.no matter where you live.if it's cool....you can live with it. people always ask me about not having any mirrors? i always tell em.."i don't wanna see where i just came from".....although not real practical,i live with it because i think it's cool.if you want it,do it.

it used to be my daily until i tore it apart for a rebuild, but the only time i'd get wet was getting out water would fall from the top of the door, but i'm walking out into rain so that didn't really make much of a difference...

Look for a door popper kit, You can also work it with your alarm if you have one or want to install one.

Make sure you put in a fail-safe devise, in case you lock the keys in, or get a dead battery. I have done both when using my buddy's truck. He has a cable hidden under the wiper cowl that you pull to manually open the door. REAL hard to pull; I used to want to shave my handles, but I have since re-considered. Maybe on a non-daily driver.

ok i bought a SPAL pop kit for it, but does anyone have pics of how the silinoids are put in? ive cut the brackets down and have no clue where to put them at inside the door.
