WMS Width?
How wide are the rear axles, from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface?
am going to build a 6 lug Ford 9" for my 70 GMC 2wd project... |

I can't answer the question on the Chevy side, but for reference a late 70's F150 9" is 65" wide WMS to WMS. 4wd's usually had 31 spline axles, which could have the flanges re-drilled to 6 on 5.5".
