Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Located in Northern VA

These are all used parts that I have accumulated in trades or taken off my truck in the build thread in my signature. All parts need work and I have chosen not to use them, mostly because of their condition, so keep that in mind. Pics upon request, but be advised that I am only selling to see if I can save myself a trip to the scrap yard. Need them all gone ASAP as my landlord is not very happy with me...

Pair of doors off 72 K20 $75 for pair
One had bottom replaced with new sheetmetal (not sure of fit), and one
has rot on hinge side

2 Pairs (4) front inner fenders $40 for all
Have rust in normal areas

Set of fenders from 72 K20 $75 for pair
Passenger side was cut below marker light and other has rust in the lowers

68 and 72 core supports $50 for both
Typical rot below battery box

Set of leaf Springs from 72 K20 FREE for the Taking

72 GMC Grille $15
Bought on ebay but has some dents and bends

Pair of Brand new GM 14 Bolt FF Complete drums with full brake setup $50
Came with my axle when I bought new, but immediately switched to Discs

Full A/C setup from 72 K20 (take as much or as little as you want $200
Switched to Old Air Products

Behind the seat gas tank Free
Great condition

Rear driveshaft from 72 K20 with new U-joints $30

Power Steering Pump from 72 K20 $30

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Haus,
I can get you pics tonight. It's pretty much all there. It was in my truck until last summer, and it didn't blow cold, but it was pressurized, so maybe it just needed a recharge?
What do you need? Are you really located in Japan? Shipping might very expensive...

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Here are some pics of the A/C compressor and brackets. If needed, also have pics of the rest (condenser, evaporator, housing, etc)

The driveshaft is a monster and I think is bigger than 4" but I'll measure it if needed.

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

yes, I'm in Japan, but my truck is in Ohio. So shipping won't be so bad.

I'll take the a/c setup. I need everything under the hood. If someone else can use the in cab stuff, they are welcome to it. Please quote to 45769. Thanks.

PM sent.

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

All, sorry for the delay in responding, but I've taken some quick photos. The A/C system is for a 350, and does not come with the controller assembly as that is reused with the Old Air Products system I bought. More pictures of the system is below. The order of "right to buy" for the A/C system is: Haus, Blue_71, and WootDog.
If you need more specific pics, please let me know. The system is complete, as stated, and was holding pressure, just didn't blow cold, not sure why.
Haus, shipping to 45769 will not be any more than $40 (I will only charge you actual shipping). The compressor is heavy and the rest is bulky.

Blue_71 Quick pic of the driveshaft is included, and I guess it is about 4" just looked bigger to me. When I had my U-joints put in, they told me there was some slop in the slip joint but that it was nothing to worry about yet (whatever that means). Just want to be honest with you. You can have it for $20 (shipping to 42141 looks like no more than $24)

Bowtie001, pics of leaves and grille are attached as well. The bottom (short) leaf one of the rear was cracked in half when I took them off and fell in two pieces. Not sure if you still want them. Yours for the taking if you do.
Shipping is going to be more than $50 as they are very heavy...
let me know.

Please let me know if there are any more questions, and I'll be quicker to reply

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Hey, I didn't see in your signature that you were a Cpt in USAF, many thanks, as a citizen living safe and sound due to efforts like yours...

At any rate, how is that GMC tailgate I saw back there? I might want that too if shipping was combined. By the way, with the leaves, if it will make things cheaper, don't bother boxing them up. Just wrap them in tape to hold then together and stick a label on them. What is your zip code? A roadtrip may be worth it...

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Thank YOU for the support, it makes all the difference in the world.
My zip code is 20152. Taping them all together is an option but would make it a very heavy package...would they even accept the that way? I thought UPS had a limit on the lbs their drivers could lift?

so are we looking at $44 total for the driveshaft? my truck has a BAD deceleration vibration, so i took the driveshaft to be balanced... the guy at the driveline shop showed me my slip yoke is worn badly... its going to cost me $200 to have it fixed

There are lots like me around, just don't listen to the media.

How good is the gate? What is your price? I will check on shipping for those types of items. Unfortunately, your house is way too far - about an eight hour drive - for me to pick them up.

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

Since I am a day late and a dollar short on the A/C stuff. Would you please take a couple of pics of the doors? I want to see if they are better than mine. They should be the same as a 68 C10, correct?

Kerry,
I can take pics of the doors tonight. They should fit a 68. I am actually using 68s on my 72

Just for clarification, I only need the rears. Can you measure them from eye to eye to make sure they will fit my C10? Send along some pics of the tailgate too, either here or to bkb001 @ gmail.com.

Thanks
-Brian

Pics to come of the doors and measurements for the leaf springs. The GMC tailgate is not for sale, I am using that on my build.

I do have the brackets for the PS Pump, but I am not sure about it fitting the 327. Maybe somebody who knows can chime in?

Door pics will up today, sorry for the delay.

Re: Lots of parts, some free must be gone ASAP in VA

OK, the measurements from eye to eye on the rear leaves is about 50 1/2 inches. Remember that on one of them the short, bottom leaf is gone.

Attached are pics of the doors. Looks like the A/C is sold to Haus.

Blue_71 That's correct on the driveshaft if you want it. It was working fine for me when I took it off, just keep in mind that I was told the slip yoke was a little worn.
Let me know.
Thanks

Doors may be restorable, but will need a good deal of work. You could definitely cut them up for patch panels.
I won't be able to ship these, so they are pickup only.
