Post ? about a truck

Does anyone here know anything about a 87 GMC Kodiak 1-ton 2 wheel dually? how many built? does anyone currently own one now?
any info would be great looking to buy one this truck has many different options i want to find out as much as possible Thanks JIM

Kodiak is what GM called their big 1 ton trucks. I am sure there were TONs built.

Well heres the deal the guy who owns the kodiak wants to trade me my truck plus cash the kodiak is loaded with options power everything its a crew cab dually with captians chairs console woodgrain everywhere
rear bench seat that folds out to be a bed provisions for TV VCR has boomarang shaped antenna on roof factory alcoa looking alum mags 454 TH-400 1-ton posi 5th wheel and class 3 GM hitch rear drop bumper its blue with blue interior and some really weird looking stripes that go down the side of the body its never been painted he bought from the orginal owner 1987 injected every possible option GM had in 87 is in this truck
he also has the bill of sale new $50,000+
just wanted to know if anyone ever owned one or if a friend does Thanks JIM 215-245-7501

From what info i did get is that these trucks were ordered loaded from GM and sent out to the midwest to place that did the all the customizing kodiak kind of like a starcraft for vans Thanks JIM

KODIAK did some GM ordered type conversions.All 1 tons and up from what i have seen. and Jim is right they mostly looked like circus wagons on the outside [stripes and flares and emblems] but were very expensive.I am not saying the truck isn't worth mre now ,but those conversion trucks drop in value quick. ask anyone who has ever traded in a $40,000.00 conversion van 3 years later.

You guys think its worth $10,500 obo just turned 100,000 excellent condition everything works and looks great i would think someone with horses or race cars would need it Thanks JIM
