Power Door Locks for a 61

I am looking for a vendor for power door locks. Anyone know where they may be found?

Re: Power Door Locks for a 61

I'm not aware of a year specific kit on the market, but the kit I ordered for my '72 from A1 Electric or Electric Life (whatever they call themselves) seems nice and looks fairly simple to install(now I just need to get around to doing it).http://electric-life.com/shopdisplay...Door+Lock+Kits I believe mine is the #95110 kit with the keyless entry.I was happy with the customer service and actually had a pretty good bs with the fella I talked to on the phone.Hope this helps a bit.

Re: Power Door Locks for a 61

I wonder if it is possible with the early latch?
the only way they lock is with the key, or by turning the inside handle the other way. there is a fail safe on the handle turn, if youturn the handle, and then close the door, the lock pops open, so that you can't lock yourself out.
maybe a solenoid that pulls whatever the key turns from the outside.
