Re: weird truck on cl

I was looking at that and it looks ODD, they should have left it a standard short box then it might have looked a little decent just my two cents

Its probably on a Blazer frame.

Looks like they did some nice work for the changes.

If it didnt have the front air dam, it would look cool.

I love how people throw the term "show truck" around. You put in a show once and it's now a "show truck".

Re: weird truck on cl

5 feet? I guess it started out a long bed? That would make it even shorter than a blazer I would think.

Re: weird truck on cl

When I bought my stepside the PO started with a longbed, and turned it into a short bed... REAL short. It was 5 foot long also. It was ok, and looked cool sometimes, but I have since put a new rear frame under it and a regular length shortbed on it.

Re: weird truck on cl

2bits, yours looks better than the one here in town. Yours doesn't have all the fringe and mismatched cr@p that the one above has. It seems a certain group of people like to add everything they can find from a J.C. Whitney catalog on their pickups and ruin them. The seller couldn't afford it so they made it!
OMG, it's the Anti-Bling!

Re: weird truck on cl

for $2500 you're getting a good truck to start with.

I think a stock grill and a new paint scheme would go a long way for this truck

Re: weird truck on cl

It might have its uses for 4x4 apps. with a shortened wheelbase like a jeep?? Someone slap a transfer case and a dana front axle and TRY to make the work that it took to shorten it worth it

Re: weird truck on cl

Short beds are nice, but that bed looks like you couldnt fit a table saw in it wtf ? It has a damaged front air dam according to the ad, thats probly a good thing IMO that air dam is fugly as well as the flared fenders just my 2 cents

Re: weird truck on cl

You know those PEPSI commercials where the guy wishes he was back in the eighties (the guy with the "Flock of Seagulls" hairdo)? He should be driving that truck...tight leather pants and power rock ballads screaming out of the hi-fi tape deck.
