how do you hook up a unilite?
ive got a mechanical mallory unilite ignition and i dont know what the 3 wires are for anyone help me out? do i need one of those boxes thingys ? thanks

are you installing it with just a coil no box such as an msd??? there is a brown, green and red wire right i now the brown is ground ill have to go out and look for the othe two

the red went to the+ and the green went to the- side of the coil both red and green wires going to the coil. made me want to fire the old 67 up and take it for a ride damn snow!!!
you probablly allready now but so you dont make the same mistake i did, when i bought mine they told me to MAKE SURE I HADE A INLINE RESISTER. so i hooked it up to the allready resisted wire (factory 6772 coil wire) and it keept braking up so i just eliminated the resister ran tits ever since

haha thanks a lot, im just getting suggestions right now, im looking at summit right now and theres that protection thing against voltage spikes its a power filter. is that somthing i should have? thanks also what kind box should i get? thanks

dont buy a mallory box i had 3 all were junk i had good luck with msd dont know about the voltage spik thinky i dont have one
