Gonna be switching back to the stock manifolds on my K10 project and just wondering which style rams horn to use....the "straight" or "angled" ones?
I'm finding conflicting info. on my searches....will both work.....is there clearance issues with one or the other for 4x4's.... BTW.....my project is a stock build K10 w/SB 350.....4-speed trans Thanks in advance! |

I believe only straight will work.

Not sure which are correct for the different applications, but the ones I've seen on unmodified trucks have always been the angled ones.
I have the angled ones on my 69 with 350/350. I took them out of a 70 Chevy about 17 years ago. No clearance issues. |

O I C.That`s good to know.Maybe it`s that the straight ones don`t work on 2wds.I just know that`s what GM did,straight for 4wd and angled for 2wd.

Re: Rams Horn Manifolds - Straight or Angled Dump? (K10)
The angled manifold will cause interference with the clutch linkage on the driver's side.

Re: Rams Horn Manifolds - Straight or Angled Dump? (K10)
I should add that the interference issue came up when it came to routing the exhaust to the angled manifold on the driver's side.
