Did I use wrong lube for t-case and trans?

I should have browsed the threads first before changing out lubes on t-case and trans. I have a Rockwell T221 & SM465. I used GL5 85-140W. I thought the heavier weight would be better with the heat here in TX. I read in the threads that most use 85-90W lube. Should I switch it out to 85-90W?
