My 62 pics

Hello for all those that have answered the questions i have had thank you very much.I just wanted to put a few of my pics so you can see my joy toy.I got this truck from a field about an hour away for only 400.00 and think it's the best deal i ever have got.

Congrats, I as well picked up my 65 LB Fleet for $400. Yours has more chrome thou.

Sweet! Looks like a great foundation for a cool truck build. Any plans made yet or is it too soon? What's she got under the hood? Looks like a pretty solid body from what I can see in the pics. Other than the rust in the front fender bottoms and rockers. I think they all have or had rust in those areas. Keep us updated. All in all I think you got a lt of truck for your $400!

Had a 235 I6 in but i have now pulled and ready to install 327 small journal from a 62 impalla almost 400 hp well just under..

That's what I put in mine. Small journal 327 with the famous double hump high compression/big valve heads. An Edelbrock Performer RPM cam, & intake and an Edelbrock Performer 600CFM carburetor with a manual choke with the performance tune. Pulls my '63 down the road nicely You should be really pleased with it once you're done!

good looking truck and great deal!!! i paid $800 for my 66 LWB fleet with bad paint and about the same amount of rust as yours with a non running 350. so id say you got a GREAT deal cause i just got a "good" deal. post some pics after the swap if ya dont mind.
