The best thing to happen to my Longhorn...
Well, as soon as I give the word, a buddy of mine over here will come and load it on a flat bed and haul it to the shop, where I have an unlimited amount of tools (the boss's box) and supplies, (boss said I can pay him back for what ever I spend) and best of all....a warm place to work.
Hmmmm...maybe I will hear it roar to life before spring? Sorry, I know its a dumb thread, but I'm as happy as a puppy with 2 peckers. I'm finally gonna get some work done to her. I guess I oughta see about getting some of that 18 inches of snow off of it now then huh? Pics to follow soon.... |

Very cool Andy! Thats along the same lines as our shop. I have everything I need at my disposal, problem? YES, this is what I do all day so its hard to get fired up about it at night or weekends. I'm getting there though!

24 hrs later and I'm still grinning.
piston...I know what your talking about...it is kinda hard to get all fired up, but I know this POS GMC of mine isn't going to last forever...it keeps on telling me to do something before it kills me. (It isn't really THAT bad) My wife already knows that I'll be a strainger in these parts once it goes in. Twin bed? Bah...who needs it? The seat in these truck is actually nice to sleep on...I did it at a road side rest in Tn once on my way from Tx to Ky. Oh and Paul, your still welcome to swing by with that magic wrench! I'll get some more beans ready for you! |
