Re: suburban tailgate button and bezel

I had to find one because mine was messed up when I bought it - it looked like it had been forced to break into the vehicle.

Nobody reproduces them, you have to find one used.

The way the mechanism works I think it would be possible to shave the button and put in a cable access in the interior or a solenoid for remote access but some fabrication would definately be required (you might check with the hot rod community that does door poppers and such to see if you could find something small enough to mount where the plunger goes)
