Sat pics (11-8) Memory Lane.
No, really, the name of this road was Memory Lane! I thought it would make a good spot for a couple of pics. I hope you like em!

Re: Sat pics (11-8) Memory Lane.
Spotted this there as well. Different road...but I liked these as well. Also fired up the 54 for the first time. Ripped out the torque tube. Cut all the stuff off the donor rearend that we wouldn't be needing. Brian getting the notches ready to go in. I added some teeth to the grill while he was working. I found this air freshener under the back seat when we pulled the interior. I customized it and have been moving it from place to place to keep it from getting thrown out. |

Re: Sat pics (11-8) Memory Lane.
that exhaust sounds awesome. That's gonna be a cool old ride when you're done with it.
The pics turned out really well too. I need to get out and get some shots in before all the leaves are gone and the white stuff starts flyin' too |

Re: Sat pics (11-8) Memory Lane.
Thanks guys! The exhaust on the 54 is just temporary. It's got a turbo on one side and a cherry bomb on the other (It's what we had lying around!) Based on past experience, having mufflers on during an initial start up helps the ears detect any issues.

Re: Sat pics (11-8) Memory Lane.
Thanks guys! The building in the background is the Hoge building on the Berry College campus in Rome Georgia. According to this link
http://puka.cs.waikato.ac.nz/cgi-bin...ary?a=d&d=p218 The road is called "Opportunity Drive". However the current map of the campus I used for reference refered to it as "Memory Lane" and the newer entrance to the college as "Opportunity Drive". I guess I could call my Grandmother and ask her what the correct name of the road is. She's named after the schools founder (Martha Berry) and the campus is where she and my grandfather met. She probably knows more about the history of the college than anyone else in this area. |
