69-72 Reproduction fenders, both sides

I will be pulling these off my truck soon to replace with good originals and don't have the space to keep them around for other future projects. They have never been painted. The gray one just has some primer over the original black coating it was shipped with. The black one is as it came. Both made by Gordon. The truck is normally garaged, and has not been driven in the winter or rainy weather (no wipers installed). $75 each plus the shipping. Greyhound should not cost more than about $50, but that is not a quote, just an estimate.

Greyhound to Louisville is about $50. DHL is over $82.

Surprisingly, its not much more than for a single fender. If I strap them together as a single package shipping by greyhound to Richmond is about $70.

The finish was good. Fit is about as expected according to every post I've ever seen concerning repro parts. The only problem area is where they meet the grill, there is more gap than expected. It could be filled easily enough.

I can understanding wanting to get the best deal possible, but come on. Shipping alone is $70.

$200 is the lowest I'll go with shipping.

Have you ever shipped with Greyhound? The last time I had a hood/front bumper shipped, they really screwed up the hood. All four corners of the hood were scraped down into the fiberglass, front bumper had the plastic corner bent... They were packaged pretty well. I want to say they wrapped it in 1/8" foam (3 layers), then 2 layers of big bubble wrap. They managed to screw it up. I want to say the hood was dragged across concrete, possibly because it was to heavy.

I've used greyhound 3 times so far with no problems. A hood is hard to to move with one person because of it's size, it probably should have gone freight. Fenders can be easily handled and are not much bigger than typical luggage. Shipping a fender by fedex/ups is about $85 for each fender because of the dimensions, which is more than the cost of the fender.

If anyone requests that something be shipped by a certain carrier and they are willing to pay for it, I'll happily go that route. And if I can't sell them for what I think they are worth, I'll stuff them in the rafters for later use or sale.
