Some of you guys wanted to see a few more pics of what's rolling or rusting (lol) around the shop, so here ya go:
First up, a couple of behind the shop pics of a '36 chevy cab, a couple of '60's chevy trucks, a rusty, stripped Shelby, and an Impala Convertible.

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Next up is a rusty '31? Ford that I swear spent half it's life under water... a '68 GTX 440 six-pack car that ran around this area for years street racing, a super straight '55 chevy with a shaved firewall, a '69 Z-28 that needs new quarters, and a black '55 chevy two-lane black top clone with radiused quarter wheel wells, mini tubs, roll bar, and shaved/recessed firewall

Here's a shot of the '40 Ford gasser, straight axle, big block chevy...the coffin car destined for a 383 smallblock...a rusty '55 Nomad destined for the gasser treatment and an injected big block chevy...a '70 Cuda that needed just about every piece of metal replaced, soon to have a hemi installed

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Next up are a few shots of various engines and parts collected over the years...only a small sample...lots more in the rafters and the store room, lol.
The first blower motor is actuall a plastic block used for mock up as most vehicles leaving this shop have a big block chevy headed between the rails. The other blower motor is just a '96 vintage 4-bolt main roller that I slapped an old Weiand blower intake/ 6-71 on to keep the dust out...it will eventually reside in something lol. The big block with the old Edelbrock tunnel ram on it is the 468 out of my '81 shorty that burned up in my garage in '05...it's set for a rebuild and install into the '72 K25 I'm rebuilding.

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Thanks '56 Cameo. They're all customer's cars at my buddy's sheetmetal shop. I rent a small space in the shop from him to work on my stuff...currently my '72 K25...keeps the neighbors from whining about the noise, and I get to use all his sheetmetal and fabrication tools. A lot of the "wall art" is mine though...been collecting for years. Casey

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Sweet. The Old Ford is a '33-'34 and it appears to be a '34 from what I can see of the doors. A '31 would be a Model A and have a square looking cowl. Looks in 1/2 decent shape - they are very desirable, that is a 5window - the 3windows are even more desirable and a body in that kind of shape will demand over 10k or better.
What are the plans with the '36 Chevy Cab? I'm still running those Valve Covers I bought off you a few years ago. I have to set up a PCV valve, but don't want to cut a hole in them. I tried to pipe a fitting into one of the breathers and block the top, but it just sucked oil right out. I couldn't believe how much it sucked out

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Hi ARK...actually, the '36 chevy cab is mine...just got it a couple of weeks ago...gonna chop/channel it....big block ratrod. It's waaaaayyy down on the list, though....gotta finish the '72 K25 (it's close!) first...then the '55 two lane black top car...then the '36.
I've got another chevy truck coming...maybe this week...just gotta go get it...I think it's a '65 or '66...all original, 327, auto, and factory bucket seats...that's right, factory buckets. Probably part it out. I'll snap a few pics when we get it here. Casey

Re: by request, projects pics and old racing parts
Suuuweeeeet!
I can look in shops like this all day long. As long as I don't bring anything home, the bride lets me sleep with her. I look at this stuff and dream about what could be. To build the '36 Chevy into a rad rod, is right down my alley. No fenders...bobbed bed, if any at all. Maybe just a beer keg for a gas tank sitting right behind the cab. Farmall grille shell.......steelies and caps/rings....and a ginormous huffer sitting on top of the big block and some zoomy exhaust stacks.....whitewall slicks on the driven end and maybe some 12-spoke Halibrands on the front...
