Automotive art for the house??
I thought I saw somewhere a coat hanger made from connecting rods and pistons. I've also saw some coasters made from mini corvette rotors and calipers. Anybody have any automotive art for the house? Its awfully cold outside and getting the jackets out, I need a convient coat hanger. Post some pics of what you've got and where to get some things if store bought.

Looks like that would be fairly simple to build.

Re: Automotive art for the house??
Ask Kyle (kyull67) about this piece of art in our living room. He made this and is in the process of building another one, a bit different, but same idea. The pictures were taken on my cell so I apologize if they don't come out great...I will get some pics with my camera, it will show it better...

Re: Automotive art for the house??
I saw some "half" cars for sale on Craigslist the other day. They were just one whole side of a car apparently from a restaurant that closed. They wanted way too much $ IMO.

Yes sir, I did. I think I'll do some more, I've got three more fenders and a set of hood letters to use.

Re: Automotive art for the house??
I like the taigate hanging on the wall! I like the beer lady as well. How about making a beer lady with her arms out to hold coats, hats, etc.? My mind is thinking now!
