19.5" 8 bolt rims

This spring Im going to start on my 72 K20 project and was considering running a 19.5" rim (possibly 22.5"'s). Im not really looking for a "nice" rim, steelies would be fine. Im pretty sure I've seen a C20 that came special order with 19.5's. Are these rims around, or really hard to find? Any info or pictures would be great. Thanks

Southwest Wheel and Rickson both sell 19.5 wheels

8 lug steel 19.5" wheels are found on older GM step vans (bread vans, P-30s). You should be able to find them on eBay for $50 a piece or so.

Re: 19.5" 8 bolt rims

I've heard great things about Ricksons. I want an 8-lug truck just so I can use em.

Yes there are single wheel 8 lug 19.5s and I believe they will even take a 3/4 ton hubcap.
I was at a scrapyard awhile back and saw about a dozen 14 bolt single wheel rears and all still had the 19.5 wheels attached.

You can also find 8 bolt 19.5 wheels on 92-97 F-450 ford trucks if you can't find the chevy bread truck style.

Re: 19.5" 8 bolt rims

My friend put them on his 93 chevy dually without any big issues. The ford wheels actually give you a little more room inbetween the tires which aid in running a wider tire.
