driveline fitment
I am installing a new t case and have the front driveline from the donor (83 1 ton) It fits when fully extended and I don't know if there is supposed to be more play or if it is OK to install as-is. Any help would be great.

My guess would be that if you have it on a lift or go over a drop/jump where the front wheels try to drop down from the frame, thereby lengthening the distance between your transfer case and axle, you might have a problem.
