If you install an LS- based motor, but you use a carb'd intake, what do you do for a fuel pump? Is there on on the motor?

On a side note, how much power can the stock gas tank support? Is it limited by anything?

you would use an electric fuel pump (low psi pump)

Basically you run an electric fuel pump. They have fuel pumps that put out low pressure for carbs, I'd still run a regulator though.

They do make a front mount distributor set up that also allows you to run a distributor, but it's VERY spendy.

Ok so it just needs an electric pump. Would that be in the tank or inline?

Inline.

I've never heard of a low pressure in-tank pump, but I could be mistaken.

i have a aluminum tank under the bed...it does have pump inside..not to high pressure just stock 40-45 psi...i not its not the weakest but dont think its real strong...just needs to supply for my 350 tpi. i know i dont got the big daddy LS but just my lil bit of info

That is extremely too much pressure for a carb. It needs to be in the 5-7 psi range at best.

Ok so if I put a fuel tank under the bed, I just put a pickup in the tank and an inline pump outside?

Correct and as close to the tank as possible.

You could use an in-tank TBI pump. It has an output of 12-14 psi. You will still have to run a regulator to drop it to 4-7 psi.
