I just recently completed a 1000 mile trip and on the way back i was hauling a 29A roadster body as well as 2 27t bodys and a bunch of other parts all with the tailgate up , can't do that with a shorty on the interstate!!!!

Tailgate down a swb can haul a 8-foot sheet of plywood but with the tailgate down in my lwb I can haul 12-foot sheets of sheetrock. Lets see a swb do that.

With the rollcage and spare in my blazer I can't haul much of any thing.The burbs interior is to clean.The 70 is a lwb,but it isn't on the road.Thats why I have a trailer so I don't have to worry about my classics.

lwb's look more proportioned compared to the swb's. plus they have a little more weight on the wheels to get better traction.
