lowering c-20 in rear

Hello everyone

just had a quick question
i have a gmc 3/4 ton 2wd (with leafs) and as many know there is not vary many things you can do to lower the rwar of the truck-i plan to convert to trailing arm air bag set up but for the time being and budget i want to try soming else

now my idea is to take lowered rear leaf springs from a 73 + c20 -c30 and adapt them to my frame can this be done??? has anyone tried it??? knowing the leafs are on top of the axle i know i wont be able to lower it as much as i want but i just want to get the @@S end down a little

what do you guys think?? i know that a lot of 73-87 chassis parts can be used on our 67-72s (at least the front end)
any ideas
Thanks,
Nathan

You can have your springs de-arched at a spring shop.
