t-case questons

Ok guy's, i'm about to put the tranny and t-case back into the blazer but I wanted to put some gear oil into the t-case. Where do i fill it? Can i use the breather opening? Any help wld be appreciated. Thanks, Mario.

I guess nobody out there knows, I filled it through the pto plate.

It should have a plug on the side to fill it. Just like the rear end.. Fill with 80 -90 gear lube till it comes out the hole (with it on fairly level ground) then put the plug back in.

Thanks Old Man Jimmy, The t-case was pretty wel crusted over with dirt and grime. Didn't even see the plug. I ended filling it up through the pto plate. I really appreciate the feedback. Thanks, Mario

Their should be 2 holes the one in the bottom is for draining it and the one above it is for filling it.

Correct. Since you filled it thru the PTO plate, find the regular fill plug to make sure you have the right amount of fluid in the case.
