Going to check out a 68 parts truck...

I know this is worthless with out pics. It followed me home however. I understand where teeitup says it is hard to find anything anymore. A guy has to jump on anything that is a decent deal anymore. Pics should follow shortly. Eric

Re: Going to check out a 68 parts truck...

Hey Eric
I passed on the 69 GMC shorty I was doing so I am not needing any parts for it now. I'm back on my frame off now. I always see a 67 orange long box sitting in the weeds between 169 and 210 before McGregor. Its been there as long as I can remember. It's pretty close to you I think. Might be another for you.

Can't wait to see pics, and I completely understand what you mean about jumping on a deal if you see it. Best of luck with your possible purchase!

Here it is. Pretty original yet. 327/ 350 trans. I guess the squirrels were living in it for awhile. No title. The grill is really nice. All the other body panels have damage. Enjoy the pics...

Re: Going to check out a 68 parts truck...

So many got crushed this year with the high prices that these are getting hard to find. I was told the engine kind of runs with gas down the carb. Whatever is in the gas tank is bad!!! E-brake cover, choke delete, it has a few good parts. Will have to go to storage till spring unless it warms up a bunch. Still below zero with the wind...

I on this statement fully. You get a chance at parts for any of our trucks you jump. You wait you lose...and lose money. If you need 3 parts off of a truck...it will cost you less for your build later.
