Question Memory seat problem.

My stolen 04 and my current 05 Suburbans have the memory seats. I had the same problem with both trucks. My wife and I both adjust the seat to our liking and save the settings. #1 for her and #2 for me, the problem is that they don't seem to save the settings. Randomly whe either one of use push our respective buttons it will either move all the way in, all the way out or some random movement and not the ones we saved. My 04 had the recall with the key remote, my 05 does not. I use the procedure outlined in the manual, (set the seat, press and hold button till two beeps sound. I've tried "key on", "key off", running, not running, won't save in "drive". Anybody know WTH is wrong, or do other have this too?

Re: Memory seat problem.

Wife's 99 Trailblazer has it, never had issues. On a side note
her 08 Equinox Sport doesn't have it. (And we wish it did)

Re: Memory seat problem.

There is a service bulletin out for your problem. Take it into the dealer so they can reprogram the drivers seat module. There is a coding deficiency in the programing of the dsm, and the reflash should take care of it.
