How long have you owned the '72?
I've had it for about 8 months, Im not thinking about painting it anytime soon,
I might add a tail pan, and all the moldings missing on the tailgate.

Definitely nice truck - I'm not a fan of larger rims, but those look really nice on there - being such a classic design really sells them too!

Very nice truck
Man up in the rust belt we dont call it patina!
Never see trucks that good up here.
If not for my family here, I would be moving south just for the nice rust free patina trucks!

IMO, if I'm thinking of the same piece, I would stay away from adding the tail pan/roll pan. Your truck is one of only a handful of original trucks left out there. I would find a set of sport bumper brackets and find a clean original rear bumper.

That truck is perfect the way it is as many have mentioned. In the end it's your truck, so good luck with the decision, and whatever you decide that will always be one sweet truck!

Can't wait to see more pics (interior/motor...)

U might be right. I will bolt on an original chrome bumper, currently it doesnt
have one cause it came with one of those old heavy duty step bumpers, so
I just yanked that think off and left it this way, stay tunned, will post more
pictures soon!

Do you remember what backspacing you got? Are they 8 or 8.5" width or wider on the rear? Also, do you remember what size tires you used? Looks really good! More I look at it more I think i have to go with the TT II's on mine

It's a "contest" for free board memberships where a three year old girl is picking the winner by the avatar, thus all the girly stuff. Here's the link

Thanks for the info on the rims....They look great and fit perfect!
