WIW...235 parts

I stumbled on several 235 parts on the sidewalk in front of a house ready to picked up by the junk man. The owner told me he had a '59 PU and I actually got to see it when he asked me to come back and get the other parts.

He had two valve covers, a bellhousing, carb, fan, pulleys, water pump, two oil pans, two fuel pumps and a few other small parts....are these worth anything? All the parts look in good shape except for the carb which has a broken air cleaner mount...other than that it looks clean.

Any idea what they are worth?

Re: WIW...235 parts

basically how ever much someone will offer for it. There are people out there looking for those parts, especially the the bell housing, valve covers and oil pans. It may be worth listing them on here or even better, the stovebolt site.

Re: WIW...235 parts

I think the value really depends on where you live. I cannot find a decent price on a 235 out here in reno, because there are very few of them, and hot august nights makes parts here skyrocket anyway's. I had a board member here offer me one at a decent price, but it's 3.5 hours away.
