Convert to hanging style accelerator pedal

I have a `68 with the floor mounted style pedal. I want the hanging style. I believe they started in like `70. At any rate, I had heard there was a FAQ somewhere about what all was involved in the conversion, but I can't find it. Can anyone point me to the info or provide it? I was about to just buy the whole linkage and assembly for the new style and just work through it, but before I do, I wanted to see if there was info on it here.

Thanks in advance,
David

Re: Convert to hanging style accelerator pedal

Has anyone converted from the floor mount to an after market style such as lokar? I know there are other after market brands that are less expensive than the lokar brand.

I know several have done it, just not sure. Most I know use/love the Lokar, even though it is kinda rich.

Re: Convert to hanging style accelerator pedal

Yeah. The Lokar is cool looking, but it's still floor mounted. Never have much cared for the floor mount.

I installed this http://www.lokar.com/product-descrip...assemblies.htm style pedal in my 68. It worked out flawlessly. PM me with any questions.
