Is a 4x4 blazer frame the same length as a swb 4x4 frame? have an extra swb body & found a rusted out blazer but its all there drivetrain wise. did not know if they were the same.

As far as i know the blazer frame is shorter. But you could make an interesting looking custom, not my thing but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are a few floating around someone is bound to post pics.

Blazers are 10" shorter I think. Would make a neat looking pre-runner style build.

Blazer is shorter, I think its 11 inches but I can't remember for sure. I extended a blazer frame 28 years ago, thats why I can't remember

The extra body i have is a 72 & the blazer is also a 72. just wanted to be sure before i thought about buying the blazer.

The short bed wheel base is 115 inches and the Blazer wheel base is 104" so the bed will have to be shortened in front so as to center the wheel opening. Frame mounts are different, also.

Cut a foot out of the bed, but I also slid the cab back, so that changed my measurement.
