Can any one tell me where I can get a front and rear 1 Ton Axle? Also I have been told you can go with 15" wheels (with modifying)but you can't use Aluminum wheels. Has any one used aluminum 15" wheels on a 1 Ton Axle?

i have a pair of 2 wheel drive1 ton axles..................BUT they are on a 1980 1 ton cargo van. i wont part it but will sell the entire van for $500 obo. It has a good running 350 and a good th400 transmission, am/fm/cassette and cruise control. The van runs and drives fine (i drove it 160 miles home when i bought it a week ago with intentions of pulling the engine and tranny but i lost my storage due to storing too many lol)but is getting pretty rusty. price can be negotiated somewhat.

I have heard that Boyce Equipment is a reputable establishment, they sell all kinds of interesting truck stuff. But its not cheap.

i think they problem with a aluminum is finding a 8 lug 15" and good luck finding a 1 ton

Ryan where are you located? I have a friend where live that has front Dana 60s in the crate still and 14-bolts too. I have a factory 86 1-ton and 15 wont fit unless you spend hours grinding calipers down. Let me know if i can help.

BAD4x4,

I am located in Florida. I bought a pair of 3/4 Ton axles with 4:10 Ratio to put on my 90 Suburban but I am still looking for 1 Tons for my 85 Suburban.

There was a 1 ton 4X4 for sale on the parts board a week or 2 ago that had 1 ton axles with 3:73 gears. I think it's in N.J. Sounded like it was driveable, but not very far or I would've bought it for the axles.......Zoomy
